Before adding any content of your own into your dashboard it’s important to make sure you have created yourself as a content creator first.

Content Creators are the person responsible for voicing a content item on the platform.

The dashboard comes with OMP Coaches already loaded into the platform, but you will need to add any content creators that will be producing content of their own for your organization.

Create a Content Creator

To create a new content creator head to the ‘Content Creators’ page on the left navigation panel of the Dashboard.

Press the ‘Add a content creator’ button (only Owners and Admins see it) and enter all necessary information including name, title, and a photo. You may also add a written bio and/or a video or audio bio of the content creator to provide further information for your listeners.

You may also provide any links to be attached to this content creators profile like a website, twitter handle, article, book, etc. Often, our users will add their in-person booking/meeting link so athletes can book through the app.

Press ‘Continue’ to move on.

You will now be taken to the Set Access Page. Here you can decide if you want all users to have access to this content creator or if you want to restrict who can see the content associated with them. To restrict access of this content creator to only selected users, select the ‘No’ option for the ‘Do all Users have access to ‘Content Creator Name?’ question. Once you have decided, click ‘Save & Continue’.

Next you will be taken to determine which Dashboard users can edit and access a Content Creator.

In the drop down menu you can choose either Private or Public.

Private allows you to grant access to the various parts of the Content Creator- Access, Analytics, Content, App Access, Content Plays and Resources.

Access permissions for each area can be set to Full, View or No Access for all of your Dashboard users except for the Dashboard Owner or Dashboard Admin.

When you make a content creator Public, permissions then revert to the default permissions of the role of the dashboard user. For example, a Viewer or Contributor roles have no edit access to the Content Creator.

Once you have completed the Dashboard Access, click Save & Continue.

Deleting a Content Creator

To delete a Content Creator, select the Trash icon for that Content Creator and confirm the deletion of the Content Creator.

Editing Access of a Content Creator

First, navigate to the ‘Content Creators’ page on the left-hand navigation bar.

From here, choose the Content Creator you wish to edit the access of by clicking their name. This could be a Content Creator that you have added into the platform, or one of the many OMP coaches that are already included.

Now navigate to the ‘App Access’ tab and click the edit button.

To determine who has access to your Content Creator you will need to answer this question: Do all app users have access to view this Content Creator?

  1. Yes
    1. If you leave it as Yes, all Users within your organization with access to the App will gain access to this Content Creator.
    2. If you select Yes but choose Exclude Users, you can allow all Users to access this Content Creator, except for the users you choose to Exclude. For example, you want every athlete to access it, except for one specific team, you exclude that team.
  2. No If you have selected No, then you must determine the exact Users, Groups or Teams that do have access to a Content Creator.

Once you have chosen who can access the Content Creator, click ‘Continue.’
