The dashboard comes with multiple preset sports already loaded into the platform, but you will need to add any sports that are not yet included.
Creating a Sport
Sports are used to filter content. To create a new Sport head to the ‘My Organization’ page by clicking the dropdown in the upper right-hand corner of the dashboard.
Navigate to the sports tab and click the ‘Add A New Sport’ button.
Enter the Sport title and click ‘Next’.
You will now be taken to the Set Access Page.
Here you can decide if you want all users to have access to the Sport or if you want to restrict who can see the content associated with it.
- Yes
- If you leave it as Yes, all Users within your organization with access to the App will gain access to this Sport.
- If you select Yes but choose Exclude Users, you can allow all Users to access this Sport, except for the users you choose to Exclude. For example, you want every athlete to access it, except for one specific team, you exclude that team.
- No If you have selected No, then you must determine the exact Users, Groups or Teams that do have access to that Sport.
Once you have chosen who can access the Sport, click ‘Save & Continue.’
